Congratulations to festival artistic board member Barbara Andres for her rave review in The New York Times yesterday. Ms. Andres portrays the role of "Mama" in a revival of I Remember Mama, which opened yesterday at the Gym at Judson in Greenwich Village. In his review of the show, Times theater critic Ben Brantley says, "...the wonderful Barbara Andres (who is nigh perfect in the title role of the family matriarch..." The show also stars Barbara Barrie and Rita Gardner.

Come to the Cabaret!

Mr. Vaccariello is music director for the highly anticipated revival of Kander and Ebb's Cabaret, which opens at Studio 54 on April 24. The show stars Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams in her Broadway debut as nightclub entertainer Sally Bowles and Alan Cumming reprising his Tony Award-winning role as the Emcee. The show is currently in previews.
The festival production, Come to the Cabaret! A Celebration of Kander & Ebb, will take place Saturday, July 26, at 7:30pm at Pocono Mountain East High School. After the show, audience members will be invited to join Mr. Vaccariello for an enlightening discussion about the creative process behind the performance.
